Who should I contact to discuss GBCA’s Education and Professional Development programs?

Training is a cornerstone to building a successful career in construction. Since 1961, GBCA has endeavored to conduct comprehensive training programs to insure a highly-skilled, productive, and motivated workforce.

Supervisory Training Program

The Associated General Contractor's of America's Supervisory Training Program (STP) is a construction-specific training curriculum developed, updated, and field-tested by and for contractors. Supervisory skill - or lack of it - directly affects every company's bottom line. You make your money in the field, and STP can help you improve your organization's bottom line.

The comprehensive 6-course program focuses on the knowledge and skills that every supervisor must have to be an effective manager of people, time, equipment and materials.

How much does GBCA provide for Tuition Reimbursement?

"I would like to express my appreciation to the General Building Contractors Association for affording me the opportunity to continue with my educational pursuits through the Drexel University Construction Management Program. The GBCA’s range of education and leadership development programs are oriented toward creating a diverse learning environment that is inclusive of all construction activities. This program has been instrumental in shaping me as an individual; growing in my confidence as a Project Manager. I have had some amazing opportunities to learn from incredibly talented teachers during my time at Drexel University. The GBCA’s commitment to higher learning for the construction trade members, not only helps to lift a part of the financial burden but also provides a sense of motivational support. My gratitude goes far beyond words and I greatly appreciate your contribution towards my education.”
